What do you think about home buyouts as a long-term solution to flooding and storm damage? In 2008, FEMA designated all of Long Beach, NY a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). How do you think the buyout program would play out there? Would it be a good (or bad) thing for the community and individual residents?
